The Lycra - Spandex we use is extremely bright and vivid. This is acheived by repeat dying by the manufacture. At goCoursing.com we not only prewash all of our fabrics prior to body suit/jacket creation but we also use a dye set solution recommended to us by the manufacturer. HOWEVER THE DYE, ESPECIALLY PINK, RED AND BLUE *CAN* FADE OR BLEED. To protect your investment, we recommend the following care be taken when laundering and using your lycra body suits:
** Use a fabric sensitive mild detergent such as Woolite. Never use bleach.
** ALWAYS wash SEPERATELY in COLD water on the GENTLY cycle.
** Hang or line dry.
** DO NOT put wet blankets together in a bag - the pink will most likely bleed on the yellow. This should not be a problem after several launderings.
With proper care, your lycra body suits will last for years and years and retain a high percentage of their vibrancy! |
